Throughout the race, several medical and safety teams coordinated by the Organisation will be deployed. Participants may request their help or assistance whenever needed.

These teams may:

The Race Director will not question the decisions of the medical and safety teams.

All runners are required to assist any participant in difficulty, within the limits of their abilities and knowledge. Failure to do so may constitute a serious offence of failure to provide assistance.

In the event of an emergency, the participant must inform the nearest checkpoint, and the evacuation plan will then be activated.

ACCIDENT INSURANCE
If the Organisation considers evacuation by helicopter or external rescue team necessary, the costs will be covered by the insurance that the runner declared during registration, whether this is their Federation Licence or the insurance purchased during registration (in the latter case, the Organisation will handle all arrangements). If the participant declared that they held a licence that does not in fact exist, the Organisation will not be responsible for any costs arising from the accident.

Between kilometre 6 and kilometre 7 there is a dangerous section where Organisation staff will be present to enforce a no-running rule. This section is less than 100 metres long, and failure to comply with this rule may result in a penalty imposed by the Organisation.
